Yeah it will work, but I know that some 550 can motors require you to mod the transmission mount because the can is a bit to long, you have to move it forward to get it to fit. Some one on here did it with a tekin motor, maybe you can find their thread or they will read this and post a link.

Using that exact motor until my Brood comes. He's winding a 19 turn for me. Used the stock speed control for about a week, never burnt up. Didn't grind or move nothin. A little slower though.

I just put a 21t Titan in my Wraith. With gearing of 20/87, I had to do a bit of grinding. It was minimal to clearance the motor on two of the side screws (skidplate screw bosses) and a bit on the link mount.

sounds pretty good, i have no problem doin some surface removal if need be. What other options would be good on the stock ESC, i want more torque top end is fine not too often i have it full rip for a stretch on the trail.

It will fit, you have to dremel down the lower link mount a little and the shaft on the titan 21t is too lonc so the cover wont fit. I cut off about 5mm off the shaft so the cover fit. I am running more of a crawling rig with an old waterprofed mamba max on 3s with 87/21 gearing. its a little slower than stock but it has gobs of torque, enough to twizzler 2 sets of stock drivelines. needless to say i run my slipper a little looser untill i can get some rc4wd punisher drivelines.
