seems as tho ive fried the brand new motor on its maiden voyage. started cogging real bad then mid crawl immediately after the cogging i see the motor smoke. now the motors dead and it was a brand new unit. very displeased at the moment. the combo esc/motor ran me $160 and i cant even get any joy out of it. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!

ummm, what did you have it in. what type of gearing did you have?? I have a Novak Havoc 17.5 2S set up and it works fine both in my Slash and my SCX10. Depeding on your application you may have to gear differant. and why didnt you stop after the first clogging to check to see what was wrong since it was your first run? ehh i think there may be a problem.. . lets give it more throttle...? |

when it started cogging i picked it up off the rocks, held it in my hand and applied slow gradual trigger pull. no wheel spin and instant smoke. i did not try to drive it out of the line or finish the crawl or anything like that. geared 87/18.

Do the wheels spin freely or is there a bind in the drive train? That may be your problem |

wheels spin freely, except when drag brake is set of course. even at that the drag was only set for 50%
