Default What battery connector does the Wraith use?

This may be a silly question, but I've been out of R/c since the year 2000, I come back and there's now a handfull of different battery connectors. Is it using a standard tamiya?

why aren't more people running traxxas hc connectors? I prefer them over deans.

Most have all their batteries using Deans...too much trouble to switch. I don't see a need to anyway. Deans have served me fine for many years.

Electrically, the Traxxas are great, good surface and contact area, nice isolation id assembled properly and very easy to plug/unplug. When I came back to the sport I started with a Traxxas and ended up with a dozen batteries using them.

The issue with them is not the use, it is the assembly. Compared to a Dean's they are a SOB to build while a deans is 2 small pieces of heat shrink and 2 quick solder joints. Based on the number of RCs i had and the number of batteries I use, the little difficulty in getting my fat fingers around Deans to separate them are well worth it.

My $0.02

Gotcha.. ya I messed up one of the first TRX HCs since I soldered too far foward, but I like them when they are done properly.

The Traxxas plugs are just too bulky. The deans are already big, I wouldn't want to try and mess with those Traxxas plugs in a scaler at all.
