..is it ok to use marine grease while doing the Wraith build (..will be driving in water quite a bit)...I watched one of Medic's videos on YT and he used LUMAX brand lithium based marine grease when he was re-building a Honcho..is it pretty much the same concept, just a different truck?..

I have been using Pro Boat marine grease for many years in all my scale rigs, in my tranny and axles and have no issues at all. I also have been experimenting with Ritchey Tom Web blue bearing grease and that has also worked great.

I just got a few hop up parts in the mail and will be installing them this week. Stay tuned.
Thank you for the awesome, detailed series of videos. They have helped me a great deal.
I my case, I purchased the RTR, but now wish I would have bought the kit, especially because of this series. None the less, my Wraith is a ton of fun.

Well, I should say was a ton of fun until I let the wife's nephew play with it the other day. He broke pieces in the drive train by running it like he was trying to break it.

What ever the case, I was able to diagnose what the problem was by watching you assemble the parts. Much easier to fix something when you know how it's put together in the first place.

So again, Thank You Fast Eddy!
PS. Would love to see the "hop up parts" video? Any idea on a time line?

First post and I just wanna say.... THANK YOU FAST EDDY!!! haha

Without your videos I would have been kinda screwed. The instructions aren't exactly always clear (or correct ;)) and that through me for a whirl while building certain parts.

Just waiting on my esc and motor and I'll get some pics up in the pic thread.

Thanks again!

Thanks for the help. The Wraith was my first build and your video really helped me out. Got it from YouTube before I found this awesome site. Referred to it many times during the build. Again thanks Ron

This might be a dumb question but just been watching the videos and from what I can tell the big advantage from the kit over the RTR is that you can pick what electronics to put in it and a few metal upgrades right? If I go this wrought I will be more then the RTR but will have a better rig?

It depends, lots of people already have their electronics, batteries and radio so they end up coming out cheaper than the RTR and have a better rig.

That's preeltty much it. Also I found out the hard way thslat at least my kit came with softer rate springs then the rtr or even the kit was supposed to for that matter. That's a good thing imo. Also just be advised that the manual was not accurate as far as part numbers especially when referencing the parts trees. Its easy enough to figure out though.

I just finished putting mine together today. Now I'm just waiting on motor and esc.

Thanks for the reptiles that helps a lot. I hope I did not jump the gun though I came across a wraith RTR poison spider that was used 2 times (it looks new) and my boy and I fell in love with it so we picked it up for $300. Should be great. Thanks for the help.
