Double check the pins in those junfac shafts, I've had a batch of them that had glass pins recently, my older ones were fine, but I had to replace them in all my recent ones.

Ive been wondering how narrow you could get those axles, maybe I'll have to get some ar60s and vp wheels for the hackalac.

Mailman show up yet??

Harley 10-04-2011 08:47 AM

Parts should start rolling in today. Did have one hiccup though so we'll see how it goes. Crawlapalooza is going to be quite a task to be done in time for.

I think you should make things really hard and see if you can build it with out anything being Orange

Looks like Crawlapalooza will still happen! Got a start on the stuff I had tonight. SSZ's and Boss Claws filled with Nova Foams.

How are the boss claws to mount on the ssz wheels. I had a heck of a time getting ripsaws with wider, stiffer foams to seat the beads right.

All tires are kind of a bitch to get mounted on SSZ's because you are doing both beads at once. I have been running SSZ's on everything for awhile so I have my method down!

I'll be running the "Rubbaneck" tire pattern. I really hate Jay. He's an asshole for making me take so much time cutting stupid tires....

Looks good Josh will be cool to see this run this weekend.

Full Penetration Fab. 10-05-2011 06:42 PM

So what is your plan to get this thing reasonably narrow?

Harley 10-05-2011 07:00 PM

Just the smallest offset hubs I can run in the VP wheels. I run my XR wide so this being about the same is good with me. Shooting for under 11", maybe 10.5" if I can get there.

I may have genixed myself with that one. Had some parts unavailable and they couldn't ship until today. Hopefully they arrive Friday and I can build the whole truck in the room in Oklahoma on Friday night!
