Default Whats the best Wraith Dig?

Hi,

I would like a dig setup for my wraith, whats the best setup out there. Whats recommended? Can I bolt right on? Will I need a dig controller like a punk?

Will the below work?

a ax10 dig unit im pretty sure wont work because the tranny housing on the ax10 differs from the wraith. i have the HR dig upgrade on my with a hitec 645 servo working it and it works perfect and is a pure bolt on kit.

I would run an AX10 trans case with a Vanquish Hurtz dig, with a hitec 225mg servo. This is a pretty bomb proof set up, and you can buy it right now.

lostinkorea, I don't know that much about DNA dig units, but I would imagine that it would probably work. Like I stated above you would just need to swap transmission cases to and AX10 type, as this dig probably will not bolt up to the wraith trans.

The problem with that is ive already spent a good deal on a Robinson Tranny and dont want to go through it again. I havent heard anything bad about the HR dig setup for the wraith and Im just going to purchase it here from ToadzRC

Hot Racing Dig Unit WRA39L, Axial Wraith | eBay

Do i need the gear box for the dig as well?

Axial Wraith Dig Transmission Case, AX80051 | eBay

Got a chance to use the HR dig earlier this year. Still wasn't nearly as reliable or accurate as the VP Hurtz dig. Nothing beats having that leverage of the arm on the VP unit. You have to buy an AX10 stock case or VP aluminum case to run it with the Wraith though.

Hey harley,

Thanks for the input. Im pretty happy with my setup now and dont mind spending 45 dollars on the HR one as of now until VP or Axial releases theirs.
