They just looked like a scratched up axle housing. There was really nothing to note after using them.

Both are nice products, I run the VP stuff now though. I like that the axles are standard splined and allows you to run any setup you want. Beyond that, the machining is a little more refined and I can get them in the color I like. It just becomes personal preference is all. Both get the job done.
