Default Confused

guys i need some help. Got my wraith kit built part way. I cant seem to nail down motor and esc combo. I hear the goat timbuk 2 HH torguemaster. I have installed savox high torque titanium servo. I want this thing to be a KOH style runner. some speed to get from A to B then crawl when it needs to. Any ideas thoughts would be real helpful thanks for helping this noob

MMP and a 13.5t sensored motor, decent wheelspeed, great low end.

I was a tad disapointed with the speed but I didn't try 3s...only 2s.
I also had it geared 12/56 (32p) which comes out to 4.66 ratio, lower than stock...I think if I played with gearing and threw in a 3s I would've been happy with the speed.

I may try a 10.5 or a Tekin pro-4 next time around...

I'm gonna be running a Holmes BRXL esc and a Holmes 13T Crawlmaster Pro with wraith timing. From what I've read, quite a few run this combo and like it alot. It may not be a speed demon tho.

Avoid Novak. If you want KOH style get something reliable.

If you want good crawling with decent speed then HH BRXL and 13t Crawlmaster. If you want good speed with decent crawling then go Castle MMP and Tekin 13.5 motor. I always think 3s is a minimum.

I do agree 3s is a minimum that you should use. It all depends on your budget Griz. go with the HH BRXL 13t and if you can afford it go to the castle MMP and tekin 13.5 motor. also get a CC BEC for your servo. Again all depends on Budget.
