ill never lower it, and its never fully compressed on both sides. thought of that, but thanks for the heads up. also when the servo meets the battery, the shocks are fully compressed.

Headed to the LHS to drop off my hitec 7954sh for warranty. Ive decided to switch companies, so ill be coming home with a new servo that puts out over 400 Oz-in at 6 Volts.

Looks good! Why don't you like your Hitec 7945SH? I'm about to buy one lol. Also I know the Airtronics is 423oz.

I love the red, that's the color I'm painting mine.

Do tell about the servos.

i have no idea what is wrong with the servo, but its putting out MAYBE half the power it should. im going to run it in my scx10 and get a savox 1283 for my wraith. its out on warranty, hopefully the find whats wrong with it.

i havent had much luck with hitec, so im gonna try some new guys. im not rough on my things either...

E-Fan kit installed, now even though the ESC is packed in a tight area, it gets a good 5-6 CFM of air flow over it. doesnt seem like much, but man does it pump! Variable speed depending on temp too! I dont think ill ever have to worry about my ESC getting too hot anymore!

Damn it , my 7954sh should arrive in a couple of days , it'll be my first Hitec servo . My fingers are crossed that I get a good one . I can recommend savox customer service and warranty tho , just got the Hitec cos of price and mega oz output.

They arent a bad servo, and with a BEC put out good power, mine just didnt seem anywhere near the power it should. i could with my hand, hold the servo arm in place when applying power to turn.

Hopefuly you have better luck.

fitted my hitec just now , bec on 7.4v and no way I can hold the servo horn, heaps of power . It sounds like you got a dud or a wiring issue , does the savox work OK in your rig ?

I didnt buy the Savox. I figured i could wait till mine was back from warranty.

I havent been doing much with the wraith lately, as its been very cold, no sevo ATM (Warranty).

I would like to rebuild my axles, as they are getting very worn down from crawling. HD helical gears, no slop lockers, STRC chubs and knuckles. new housings, and diff cover.

Ive also been investing too much too fast, so im slowing it down a bit.

I have had 7954hs hitec servos on my crawler for about 18 months now and have beat them to death with no problems. They well push rocks to turn. I love them. Any brand can have some bad ones i think
