Default hows the kit

lookin at getting a kit rock racer how are they from the rtr one and i love kits. what are the kit hop ups in the box ty?

i just got one i don't see many hopups upper links are alluminum,lockers are the cross ones,they might be stock ,axle shafts are universal joint .might be better to get a rtr for the radio and esc.i had a rtr also.i also got a really good deal on it but rpp can't be beat.

If you already have a Tx and Rx, then get the kit.

The best things about the kit are the front universal shafts and the R35 compound Ripsaws.

Yeah, that ESC should work well. I run a MMP1C with my 17.5T motor and it puts a BIG smile on my face!

Well, I won my kit and built it in two evenings to get it ready for a G6 comp that weekend! It is definitely handy to have an electric screwdriver.

Ask whatever questions you want, that is the purpose of this forum.

what all do i need to get it runing. low money parts to start out with. my radio is a dx3 c if that helps out some

You could just run a cheap lower turn brushed motor and ESC....

i like to run a bl motor i have a mmp esc with a 5700 kv 4 pole moto i can take out of my losi 22. but the motor is to high kv for this kit?

It's an excellent kit. And price is kept low so there aren't really any upgrades except what was listed above. U joints are the important part.

Yeah, that motor will be pretty fast and wont have much torque for crawling.
