| "riddler" southern buggy build
I figured id start my own build thread on this chassis. just got my wraith kit in and vp goodies.. time to get wrenching.. 1st off pics of 1:1.. parts list.. Riddler chassis wraith ocp axles w vp knuckles/c's wraith tranny with HR steel gears axial steel 38/13 steel gears w HR steel locker dinky rc rear upperlink..http://new.dinkyrc.com/ vp diff covers vp Ti steering linkage mip drivelines.. 90mm HR air shocks f/r axial 87.5mmx7 lowers revo push rods for upper links wheels/tires.. 2.2 proline swamper sx's 2.2 trail king ez-locs elec.. hitec mg servo 7954 castle sidewinder esc/cc bec.. hpi re 30t race motor 3s lipo 2800mah 30c pics.. 1st coat of paint.. goodies.. I thought you bought those aluminum rc4wd axles for that when they was first released .. Oh and the 1:1 pics are awesome that thing really looks good.. Are you gonna put bump stops on ur rig like the 1:1 and are you gonna use the jeep body for yours also.. I'm subscribing to this build.. Now get on it josh lol J-bird |

progress... i flipped the front axle to look like the 1:1.. tranny built.. axial 38/13 steel cut gear w HR steel spool weighs in .. dinky rc steel truss..spot on,no adjusting all holes line up and fit snug. http://new.dinkyrc.com/ sexy.. sprayed chassis 2nd coat..waitin on it to dry,then clear coat. more to come.... time to feed the machine! frame pics... semi mock up..14 1/2in wheelbase.. needs 1 more clear coat and ill start fitting links to it. then see what im looking at for shock length. ill paint jeep body 2mrw and get it ready.. order 2.2 proline swamper sx's or hope that rc4wd is releasing a 2.2 rockstomper in the new design tread pattern hear soon.. |
