I haven't the slightest clue but I'll be opening mine the 25th would love to know what I'll be getting into. Is it that bad inside that box?! The guy that sold me mine said it'll keep one occupied for some time.

just take your time and don't try to rush it or skip the steps ,it is a really fun kit and you will appreciate it more when you are done ,most important to me was to have fun with it and try and take all the flashing off the parts before you assemble them box cutter and nail file work really good .you can have it done in probably eight hours or less ,make sure you keep track of the screw length .have fun and don't be afraid to ask questions also there is videos on here on the complete build.

Without prior experience I'd say it'd take you about a full day start to finish at least.

Take your time and do it right. There are a few tricky parts such as setting up the front knuckles and c hubs the proper way.. Trying to follow the directions in the manual was confusing for me and I'm sure I wasn't the only one. Refer to the build videos in this forum for very very useful info and help.

I hope mine takes a month or more. I rather build one than drive it anyday. It is a very good kit and when you get some of the stuff from VP and other upgraded parts it looks to be bullet proof.

I should have bought the kit, hell I have had this thing apart and back together like 100 times, (well...maybe three times)!

I am starting on my XR10 kit the 25th also, can't wait!

I built my kit in two evenings.....and took it to a comp the next day!

An electric screwdriver is definitely helpful!

yer for sure, the electric screw drivers are a handy thing, saves so many sore fingers, espicially after a couple hours of straight build time. the ripsaws are really good, i like em'.
