Careful. Youre in for a big surprise in performance gains

Re: Kyle's Unemployment Wraith

I run the same foam/tire setup. It is too stuffed. The tread is bulged. I like the firm-ness but want the tread flatter. I'd be happy to ad the bulge to the sidewall instead though.

Its way, way better than the stock foams. Thats for sure.

I asked Eddie about making a single stage foam out of the inner stuff. He wasn't interested in cutting custom stuff for me. But I think that would be the best foam for these Wraiths. They are heavy and go a wee bit faster than any old SCX. Even with the CI DD foams the tires will fold to passed the sidewall lugs in a fast corner.

I think some trimming of the outer is required. Maybe some tuning disks.

I've looked for weeks to find a suitable foam to try cutting my own single stage foams... no luck.

Wraith looks sweet by the way.

Thanks for reminding me about the Double Deuces I can't wait to beat the snot out of this rig. Just waiting on the VP brake kit to come in to put it over the top.
One of these days your gonna have to make me some alluminum side panels for this rig since I never got the chance to run the ones I bought two weeks ago.

Have you thought about cutting a groove in the center of the outer foam to have th inner go into it

Well... no I never thought about doing that. I'll rip a wheel apart and check it out. I do like the new inner foam stuff he is using though. Just a little tinker to get it how I want.

Thanks fer tha idea.

Re: Kyle's Unemployment Wraith

So I ordered seats from Team3Six and got them in last week. I can't believe the detail in these seats do nice in quality. My dilemma now is that my rig is narrower than the stock chassis. So to my surprise they dont fit. So I went to Walmart and got some supplies to build my own but I'll use Team3Six seatbelts of course.
Do here we go
