Why cant i find the front universals for my wraith

I want them for my four wheel steering instead of the dogbone set up. But everyone is out of stock??? and has been for quite a while

why? Because the people they get them from don't have them.. because the people they get them from haven't made them.. because the people they get the material from don't have it.. because the people that throw plastic bottles out the window of their car wasted the material.. because the people that raised those people smoked crack while they were pregnant.. Shall I continue?

i ran universals up front, dogbones out back. worked great. one tip, make sure you have a good servo in the rear. not only does it need to be able to turn the wheels with the weight of the truck sitting on them (while climbing), but it has to be strong enough to hold the wheels straight when you are not steering. i used the stock ae-2 servo off the front of my wraith and it lasted about 30 minutes until it smoked! got hot enough that it melted the case.

Hot Racing CVD's are readily availible on Fleabay, The question is will they last an hour ?
I ordered a pair Yesterday, I'm not waiting for anyone to restock because I wanna run this weekend.
If the HR's break then I guess I'll try the dogbones for my rearsteer and just turn the EPA down ?

If you go to my build sheet I ran my fully built wraith for 30min with RC4WD CVD's on 2s and they broke quick.

Axial doesn't make a CVD. Universals only.

Just wait until they are in stock. All other options are worthless.

I ordered up the ebay hot racing CVDs just to keep the truck running after my stock Driver side shaft sheared off.

After an hour of Running a castle SCT 1410 combo with the HR shafts and i broke the hinge pin and chipped off one of sides of the socket cup. I was able to use make up a new pin and just switch to the second set of pin holes in the socket cup. Haven't run it hard yet but im assuming i only have limited use left.

I hope some new options arrive in stock soon.

Maybe that is a hint about the quality of the product when they cannot keep them in stock. Either everyone wants them, or they break and everyone needs them. Since I am on my 3rd set of universals, you can guess what my answer is. Our only hope is someone makes a HD set for us. Please VP, save the wraith like you did with the XR-10.

i could not break my universals,(and i've tried) i could only wear them out at the pins.there worth the wait..

The hot racing are junk. I broke one in about 5min just playing in the basement. The stock dog bones I think are stronger. Mine are bent bad but they didn't break. The extra turning is nice but the strenght sucks

I ordered a set of the Axial universals from my local hobbie shop a couple of weeks ago. At the time the ETA was end of December. Their supplier has since removed that estimate and has not issued a new date. I'm guessing it will be a while...

I emailed Axial about these today. First off it was great to get an immediate response. Second, and most importantly, Axial just shipped 200+ units to their distributors so they should be becoming available soon. Of course this depends on how many are already on back order. I'm hoping my order was one of them!
