Hey Erbing. Is that an ARB blasted with ARB milled off so you could flip it?

Yes, I didn't like the red, so I just grinded off the ARB and painted it Metallic grey and flipped it.

I didn't want to flip everything around, I also needed a new cover, I figured the ARB with a different color would look cool to me.

Here is another shot with the dummy screw holes painted black.

I went with the cheap hotracing option as well

Pretty sure I'll be switching them out as I'm anticipating one hard hit will shatter them into a gazillion pieces I've had plenty of good products from hotracing in the past, but I just don't think these diff covers will take much abuse.

bondonutz- I also went cheap with the HR covers, I killed one already, and the others bashed pretty good, also how's that steering setup work and where can. Find one like it?

fknfastintegra- how do those MT claws work? I've been considering gettin a set for myself but I'm a little leery on how they'll work

Thanks guys for any feedback!

Theres My HR diff cover if you go out on the rocks for a long run take a 1/4" drive ratchet with to beat the cover back in shape, that is if you kill parts like I do, haha

I just bought the VP smooth covers and noticed that my covers are upside down. To fix this I would have to reverse the ring gear setup? I built it according to the Wraith Kit instructions. :( Oh the joys....maybe I will just leave them upside down.

Any thoughts out there? Thanks

Hey, prusik333, when you say drilled out, do you mean that the additional bolts help secure the cover, or that they are just for aesthetics?

I've never been satisfied with just the four small bolts.

Looks like you can easily add the four extra screws..I doubt they are just for looks.

I started this thread a while back and still haven't got myself a set of diff covers...lol.

I guess after seeing these, I'm leaning towards the Vanquish and the Ballistic Fabrications diff covers.

I drilled them out, then screwed the screws in and dremeled them down on the other side. I only did the one to make sure the cap head screw didn't hit a rock and break off (@ $25 each). I wanted to make them just not for show, but if I remember right, wasn't enough plastic??? plus bottom was at angle so screw would be???
I hammer on it pretty hard, as it is mostly rock crawler only, it still hold up pretty good

Just leave em upside down, it fights the torque twist better this way. I'm running same VP covers front and rear in matte silver...couldn't find a pic of mine atm.
