Aluminum lower links vs. plastic, better driveshafts, universals vs. dogbones. No LEDs in the kit, better compound tires in the kit, different color seats.

Basically, if you have the electronics anyway, and are up to building one, the kit is a no brainer. You'll probably wind up replacing most of the stuff on the RTR anyway.

I bought a used rtr. I've only had it a couple weeks. Already broke a lower link. If u alreadybhave the electronics I'd go kit no doubt. Only reason I got a rtr is cause it was same as kit price. Couldn't turn it down.

Read the stickys. You are starting a lot of extremely basic threads that could be avoided with 5 mins of searching or reading.

AX10 RTR or Kit for a build? Kit seems more popular, but RTR has some nice features. nukexbi Axial AX-10 Scorpion 21 05-09-2008 01:27 PM
