| What is a good Lipo & charger for the wraith?
Newbie from the Island of Guam. First post and I may get flamed for this, but i'll take my chance as this is a model specific forum anyways. Bought a Wraith for my son's first R/C but have not purchased a battery and charger yet. Anyway's I would like to gather some input as to what type of Lipo battery and charger you all would recommend for a pure stock RTR Wraith. Links would be definitely appreciated. Hope to hear from you Wraith Lovers!! thanks from Guam. |

Hafa adai, A good decent charger with good reviews and very affordable, would be the ThunderAC6. I've been using this charger and it works well with no problems. Battery should be a 2s using the stock rtr esc. what kind depends on you, price, mah, etc. The wraith is very fun to drive, you might end up keeping it for yourself...lol. Search the forums, alot of info here. esta, |

I have the Onyx 230 from PIH for about $90.00, works well it just doesn't have the storage charge feature but with a little math you can figure it out,Haven't had a problem with it. As for the battery shop around for a 2 cell with 4000+ MAH, Don't get rush gears batteries they're junk.

I'm also using the Thunder AC6 charger and it's been great. Hard to not like all of it's capabilities for the price and the fact that it is an AC/DC charger. Thunder AC6 Smart LiPo Balance Charger/Discharger w/ AC Adapter for 1-6 Lipo/ 1-15 Nimh + USB to PC Software For lipos, I've been running these with great luck. Probably not the best of the best, but I haven't had any issues with them. Sky Lipo 4000mAh 7.4V 40C |

Duratrax Onyx 245 Dual AC/DC charger ($119), and 2x5000mah NIMH Turnigy Lipo's, ($39.9. A great start in the Lipo game IMO.

i have been using a protek charger($150) for the last couple of years. it works great and i have never had a problem. it has 10 memory settings for all of my different batteries. i have 2, 2s losi 2000mah 30c batteries and 1 2s 4200mah 25c for my wraith. and in my ax10 i have a few different 3s. so the memory settings are a deff plus. i stick with the 2s in my wraith so i keep my breakage to a minimum. but once i get all my upgrades 3s here i come.
