Default Can't steer right

So I just finished building my Wraith and when I went to take her for a test drive today I was unable to turn to the right. When I hold it off the ground it has no problem turning left or right but as soon as it hits the dirt or concrete I lose all ability to turn to the right. Has anyone seen this before or know how to fix it?

We need a little more info.
What kind of servo and electronics are you running? I'm assuming since you said finished building you started with the kit and not the rtr with the rtr electronics?

There's your problem. The S3003 servo is only rated at 57oz-in torque @ 6v. You need a servo with at least 200oz-in torque and a bec.

is there any specific servo and bec you would suggest? I'm currently deployed with the military so parts are hard to get and swap if they don't fit.

Any servo with 200oz or more is wht you need, and it just needs to be a 1/10 servo, they will all fit! As for the BEC I would suggest the Castle Creations 10 amp BEC. And thanks for what you do for our country

Hey its no problem, it helps pay for my new found addiction. As far as servos go do I absolutely need one that strong? I am actually building this Wraith in a more race oriented manner with the ability to crawl but mainly focusing on speed.

YES! you could probably get away with something in the 120 oz range like the stock RTR AS-1 for just running it around in parking lots or light crawling, but i definitely recommend a servo with 200+ oz of torque. And make sure you change out those stock steering links if you haven't already because no matter how strong your servo is, if the flimsy plastic links bend while your servo is turning it, your rig will still go no where. Don't ask me how I know.

or you can do some dirt oval runs, as long as it turns left hehe

seriously, if you run a BEC i would also go with a high voltage servo just as Turn'Nburn mentionned!

If price is a concern and you don't mind ordering from Hobbyking, here is a good one...

HobbyKing R/C Hobby Store : BMS-2514 Coreless Digital Alloy Gear Servo - 25.5kg / 0.14s / 7.4V (High Voltage)
