Default a_wraith

While waiting for my kit to come, which usps should have delivered yesterday, I cleaned up the parts that will be reused from previous rigs.

I'm using the wheelworks m887 v2's that I had on my berg until it went on a diet. I kinda like the way they look with an IROK mounted up. They have been channeled to reduce weight, and the rear hoops are delrin. There are 6" CI closed cell with soft outer fronts and medium outer rears stuffed inside.

So I belt sanded the scratches out to make way for new ones, and bead blasted them for a soon to be messed up nice finish.

Mips, over drive gear on an RCBros locker, an almost 3 year old, heavily abused Axial HD gear it looks almost new. The iron cross inside the rear setup will be gone soon I hope. Something wicked from RCBros should be here to test in the not too distant future.

And you can never go wrong with powerstrokes

I'll be using an fxr and br00d apocolypse 30t ST to play around with it on fathers day tomorrow if the mail man would hurry up and get here, but that is not the permanent solution, which should arrive Monday.

I'll probably end up with slw 475s, maybe 350s. I have 600s on now and have a feeling it will be wider than I want.

Today it will get driven with the wraith panels, but here is an idea of where this will be going.

I got it drivable and played around a little yesterday with an fxr and 30t br00d motor. It was fun, but can not wait for the real power to show up

The temporary stock panels:

Uh huh! I mistakenly only ordered one diff cover... It will have to wait until next time rc budget comes around.

It is much more flexible wire. I have broken so many sensor wires that I'll spend the extra for the flexible one

X2.. I just ordered that motor but didn't buy the sensor wire because my redline came with one, so I figured.

Gotcha. I should try one of those.
Does it help keep the sensor harness in place better than the stock one? Or is it just more maneuverable?

It is more flexible, will not break easy.

I finished cutting up the JK and started sanding.
