| Quick Help Question RE: Diff gears/cover
I purchased the ARB diff cover for my wraith and now seem to have an issue with forward speed being slower than reverse!! Here is what I did.
I know this is going to be an easy fix but I just can't work it out Any ideas please.. Thank you. |

Flip your motor wires, then go back to your normal forward / reverse on your controller?

OK cool, I have done that and it seems to have sorted it. I thought I had read somewhere that swapping them wasn't a great idea but I can't remember why in that instance. If anyone else knows why this is not a good idea please let me know. Vp Monkey, thanks for the quick reply much appreciated

Stock motor or aftermarket? If aftermarket did you specify advanced timing when you ordered it? If so, might you have specified advance timing for Wraith (with H.H. they advance time it in the clockwise direction as opposed to counter clockwise for most other rigs)? If unsure, and you do have an aftermarket motor you must view the timing marks on the endbell and make sure that in forward the motor shaft rotates into the advance (if endbell is rotated left from neutral timing position when viewed from endbell side to advance timing then motor shaft rotation should be clockwise when viewed from endbell side, rotating into the advance, and vice versa)

You could simply use a castle link or manualy program the ESC to have 100% foward and 100% reverse, if thats the problem.

Thanks guys, motor is stock, however I have also just swapped it to the axial 55t to see how that goes and it was the same on both. Swapping the terminals works at the moment but I might try the ESC re-program, thanks
