Thanks guys. Been reading the posts here and learning all I can and I have made a few mods and changes to my wraith.
Man this thing is the most fun I have ever had in my 25 years of R/C.
Pics To follow.

Did the hood mod using the Traxxas battery pins and Zipties for the hinges.

Moved the battery up front. The mockup.

Cut the stock battery holder and mounted it up.

Finished mod.

I started out running a Losi esc and a Trinity P2K2 27T brushed motor I had laying around. It did pretty good for a while on the stock gearing till it coughed up the white smoke of death after about 5 or 6 runs on my back yard trail.

Burnt up the stator pretty good.

I picked up a 87T spur and went to a 12T pinion gear with a hand built Frankenstein 27T Epic. Ran alot better and cooler than the last setup.

My first real upgrade was some new steering links to replace the flimsy stock links.

Made some inner fenders out of some plastic sheeting I had.

Got tired of the station wagon look so I chopped the cage a little. I'm pleased with the results.

Front down bars.

Since this was a kit I made up my own lights.

Mounted the rear lights in the body skins.

Custom harness for the front.

Got bored with the brushed setup so I picked up the most popular combo on here and because it was a good deal I found on the local Craigslist.

Dropping in the power house.

Under the hood.

Did a few test runs with a 54T Traxxas Slash spur and a 14T pinion I had on hand and I couldn't get the grin off my face the whole time but I was just a little to fast for my liking. I settled with a 58T Spur and a 12T pinion in 32 pitch for durability.

You'll get a real big grin if you run a 3S on that 3300 instead of the 2S. It will really wake it up.

Yeah I haven't tried a 3s in it yet. I'm going to do some driveline upgrades before I step up to that. LOL

The 87T spur fit perfect behind the cover. The 32P 58T spur I'm running now rubs just a bit. I might end up going down to the 56T.

Ran across this little tool box and thought it would be perfect to mount in the back.

That is nice looking wraith...love the color and the creative mods you've done to it! What did use for the cables on the hood retaining pins?
