1.9 wraiths where are they at ???
 

Just like the topic says I've been searching for some build threads on peoples wraiths that they have turned into 1.9 trucks with scx10 diffs any help would be appreciated :)

it drove great as a 1.9. honestly there was not much more that the 2.2 could do over this, lol. i shortened the WB a bit too. i think it was around the same as a dingo.

It was for sale until I changed the axles. Other than a CMS there is nothing else I want to do with it other than make it "trail ready". Might just be my new favorite.

This is mine. Worked good with the 1.9 tsl's but, I like the look of this. Will be testing it out tomorrow.

Still tweaking, have now added a hand bros truss up front, g transition socks in droop, and have overdrive gears and VP stage one kit and cvds on order. As it stands now it out performs all the scx rigs I run with.

Love the white jeep! I was going to do white on black, but decided to match my 1:1 instead. Looks like we have the same stance, what shocks are you running and how did you handle the servo?

The 2 trucks ideas were built the same place at a dinner table, there twins.. The only difference is power..

Wraith shocks, VP CMS kit & Panhard bar Kit. Hand Bros. Panhard/3-link mount on the axle.

I'm wondering about how many guys are doing CMS vs axle mount for their servo? A few very experienced guys told me to go axel mount, cause my cms set up isn't performing all that well.

What did you guys have to mod/ remove to get the axel mount to work?

FINALLY got to run on some rocks today. I love this thing so much more since mounting the TTC tires. It is more capable and agile than my old Creeper on 3s. Though it is 3s capable I only ran on a 2s pack this evening, even shot some video; though, Youtoobs isn't approving a bunch of vids I shot so mashing them together isn't happening tonight.
Earlier this week I hooked up a Brushless Hobbies 120a esc and Viper 10.5 turn. Thought I was instantly in love, lacking a programming card or Windows access kept me from programming. I'm not sure if the Viper is capable of running sensor less so not having reverse isn't an acceptable option with one of my SV2's. Suggestions are well accepted as 2s on the 10.5 ran low speed obstacles easily and cleared a few jumps over the same obstacles. 3s on the current brushed setup is stlll quick and torquey but the brushless run had a lingering impression.

Was able to get in some real good runs yesterday. Added a Novak 2s Brushless system with 18.5. Not bad, but not the 10.5 Viper I tested in it. Still, fun afternoon.

I really want to do something with the body but dont know what to do. I like the fastback and bobbed look but hate to hack on it so soon. Definitely needs some color...
