I'm running one with 22/84 gearing on 4s, it moves along. Trying out 22/80 this weekend to see what that feels like.

I'm on 3s with Tekin FXR, but it will do 4s with updated capacitor from Tekin or Crawler Innovations. I have the 4s itch, but haven't done it yet.

Tekin - Accessories

I was thinking EVX-2 and wiring the motor up summit-style.

will a Traxxas 3975 Titan 23 Turn 550 Motor work?

Was thinking of getting that for my wraith and start running my 3s battery with it

Right now I just installed a 550 12t and with a 23 pinion gear and it really moves compare too stock now And climbs just the same maybe even better.

Well I have low gear for crawling. It is gutless with low gear and my gearing unless you have 3s+ As in 2s I can stall it without tire wrap. Same battery and taller gearing in my novak 13.5t ballistic I have to let off because it will wrap tire around rim then try and lift the whole vehicle I stop so it doesn't break something.

On another note I was playing with it again and broke rear driveshaft pin. Then played in a little mud puddle dipping the front wheels and shooting rooster tails....full throttle forward then reverse for a fun bit.....motor went poof guess I should have checked the temps. It was my temp motor anyways until my mmp got back now it's back to brushless.
