| Holmes CrawlMaster 11t - Question
I am trying to decide between the 13t and the 11t CrawlMaster series motor. Does anyone have any experience with the 11t CrawlMaster in a Wraith? |

So I am going to assume that nobody here runs an 11t CrawlMaster motor in their Wraith. Well, I may be the first then because I am leaning towards that setup. |

I did for a while. It runs noticeably hotter than the 13t, and I could feel a bit less torque with the same gearing. Didn't have a lack of torque, but it needed a bit more trigger to get over stuff. 13t would be my recommendation if you plan to crawl with it, but the 11t is really fun.

You can't have it all sticking with brushed, but it sounds like the 11t would suit you. Otherwise going to a brushless solution is the best bet if you want more speed and still keep some crawl.

Thanks again for the reply. Are the motor leads included with the motor kits? I could not find the answer on the website.

The deed is done. I ordered up a BR-XL / 11t CM combo. |

I don't have much time under my belt with the 13T. But the time I do have, I will say this.... Torque fer dayz! Certainly not the fastest, but I wasn't looking for that. I am 100% happy with the motor. I showed the motor to some of the electrical engineers I work with and they were very impressed by it. I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised when you run the 11t. |

I have it in mine. I can't remember what gearing I went with, went to 32P gear set, 56T/14 or 15T. But it's plenty fast on 3S and crawls fine (still have the stock esc).
