| Project Limbo Wraith
Wayne here with my very first RC build I've name Limbo. Many thanks to everyone who has shared their builds. Information has been invaluable. Just about got it ready to go and thought I'd post a couple of pics while it's still new. Here are a few of the build details. Vanquish axle assemblies with Axial axle shafts and gears. Vanquish links throughout Vanquish panhard bar and servo relocator Holmes Crawlmaster/BR-XL combo on 2S lipo for now. ( I need to learn how to drive first.) Converted to 32p spur and pinion gears. MIP driveshafts BGR Fab front bumper Painted alum body panels from Advanced Metal Fab Robinson Racing and Super Shafty trans upgrades |

| Re: Project Limbo Wraith I built this Wraith to withstand my daughters and whatever motor/battery combo I might try down the road. One of the first areas that I beefed up was the transmission.

| Re: Project Limbo Wraith Panels were purchased on Ebay with Skulls already applied from Advanced Metal Fab. Electronics and mechanical stuff I understand. Graphics I leave to the pros.

| Re: Project Limbo Wraith They are indeed art. Hats off to Advanced Metal Fab. I bought the body panels before I even ordered the kit. Just added my first scale accessories..shackles. Makes Bill's bumper look even better. I wonder if a QuickSand winch will fit up there? |

You may have noticed in my previous post that I have both steering rods on top of the steering arm. I wanted the tie rod as high as I could get it. What's not so obvious is that this is with Axial beadlocks. Turns out that TopCad makes these wonderfull hexes that are stretched 5mm. Even includes the setscrew. Didn't use the plastic washer under the wheel nut and it works great.

Well those beautiful VP diff covers have been taking a beating. Managed to get my hands on a set of DMG skid plates. Just what the doc ordered. Thanks again DMG! Also decided that the diff covers really needed scale fill plugs. Ended up using the RC4WD 3mm scale bolts.
