| Steering knuckle screws......URGH
Ok, so I have been enjoying my RTR wraith. Now for 2 weeks and have lost the screws that thread into the axle for the steering knuckle a half dozen time..... Anyway she'd some light as to why, and a fix? |

replace the old screws with 3mm fine thread screws

Yes or if you have CA glue try that on them or the combo!!

| Re: Steering knuckle screws......URGH If the holes aren't too badly stripped out just doing that will fix your problem.. Otherwise some CA glue *and* the 3mm fine thread should do it. Coarse thread has no business being used for applications such as this but Axial doesn't seem to get it. |

Hi I had the same problem with the scews stripping out. I finally ended up going with the axail aluminum knucles and chubs Axial Aluminum Steering Knuckle Set (Black) (2) [AXI30760] | RC Cars & Trucks - A Main Hobbies Axial Aluminum C-Hub Carrier Set (Black) (2) [AXI30762] | RC Cars & Trucks - A Main Hobbies Suprisingly the coarse thread screws 3mm from AXIAL are backing out of my aluminum pieces. Guess I have learned the heard way will have to put in fine thread srcews Thanks Scott |
