| wraith lower links question
What's the best replacment lower links for the Wraith ?? I have the Metal lower link that come with the Axial build kit. The plastic ends wear out or just stretch through stress.. |

Titanium is the way to go. It's just something you will never have to worry about again. I've ran delrin links MANY times before, at some point they are going to fail. They are also much more brittle when they are cold.

I don't think "cold" is a problem in Australia. Harley, under what circumstances your delrin links have failed? i ask because i use mine a lot and i never had a problem with them, although i don't jump it in a skatepark |

| Re: wraith lower links question I've broken several delrin links on tumbles, even with a rig half the weight of my Wraith. The BMRC pieces look nice but they are also a lot thinner than I would personally run. Probably fine if you only want to crawl and never risk long tumbles. This is however not how I run my stuff.

I also feel the beefier material looks better as it blends into the rod ends.

| Newly installed vanquish uppers and lowers. The best out there period. No argument. Strength, obviously but increased ground clearance as well due to the bend. The obvious choice. 100 bucks for uppers, lowers, drag link and tie rod. Can't beat it. |

I am drooling now wishing I could afford to get the VP uppers and lowers myself!! I am slowly building up my TMA Service Dogs prize Wraith. I did buy the VP lockers and Stage 1 kit. Tapped for cash right now. Vanquish will get most of my money...lol.

Rpp's salvage yard had kit lowers for 8 bucks and tcs crawlers had green bent uppers for 4 bucks. I run a vxl combo and hammer it. That being said I still run vp steering links.

I know there is slightly "more" chance of bending, but when I put my Pro4 in recently I was whipping around in front of my house late at night (dark) and misjudged a curb and smacked it with the driver front wheel. Both Revo ends broke on the lower link and it fell just to the ground....I put new ends on and was back up running no problem, and seeming to be no worse for wear. | |
