Default my new old wraith..

I bought a venom creeper a while back.. had a wraith body mounted on it and it also had wraith axles.
I sold it to a guy and never thought of it again.. until i saw it on craigslist. Needless to say I bought it back from him. He had used the wraith parts to make a complete wraith and added a cantilever susp. setup. It had tons of flex but it wasnt practical for crawling..i took the cantilevers off and started building..

my old wraith

haha looking back it was super tall......

here is how it was when i bought it back..

i swapped out the tires for some TSLs, and built a lower skid plate and upper aluminum roof panel for it.

I made my own upper and lower links to avoid coming out of pocket $70 for VP ones..
only using the upper ones now until i finish the lower ones.

Also got some STRC upper trusses. Had to get 2 fronts because Im running my rear axle flipped.

Just made a decent order from RPP.

I got a Tekin Redline 13.5T to replace mine that is blown from a 5000mah 6S pack in my 6x6 dually scx10...
HR 100mm internal sprung shocks
droop kit
VP shock mounts

here is how she sits until my parts come in...

Looking good! Any particular reason for opposite diffs? Did that canti setup work well or want to unload easy?

I was wondering that as well...how much aclimating time did the 4 wheel steering take you to get used to it? I thought it was cool when you said you bought it the second time,I've done that with a minitruck and dirtbikes over the years,LOL!

the cantilever was awesome as far as flex goes but it would bind severely under normal crawling conditions...it just wasnt practical....

and the rear steer is seperate from the front. i rarely use it but it helps alot when you get your back wheels in a rut while trying to get on a rock..it is on a 3 position switch on my 3rd channel. full left, center, full right.

I flipped my rear axle because it was the front axle off of another build and i swapped the susp. mounts as opposed to flipping the chubs and such...i will probably change it out soon.

^^^yeah it did! In the pictures it doesnt look like your axles walked much for that much flex. But like ya said dont need that much ya got weight transfer everywhere and probably wasnt as predictable, I was just really impressed . Looks really good though, nice changes.

I got all my new parts in....

I just realized that I need to do a complete teardown rebuild.. I used axles from 2 different rigs on this truck.. I just realized the gears are different front and rear... I was wondering why it hopped slightly at full throttle..
