yup just made a serious adapter so i can test 5 cell this weekend also waiting on my rr idler gear.

did the axle mod to with 1/4 smooth shaved down alittle


i didnt feel 4 cell with the 14/56 gears were quite fast enough thinking 5cell will be just right .

5cell is getting to the max voltage for this 2100kv motor so she just may wake up and produce alittle heat. if so ill step back to 4 cell and try some taller pinions. i do like 14/56 for craling and general bashing just seemed slow int he sand

Keep the 5cell and drop the pinion

I just dropped the spur from 66 to 56 with the 14 its still not fast enough on 4 cell.

Motor is the turnigy 2100kv its very big and take modding to work.

2100 is a awesome ala round kV. It crawls pretty dang well on 2 cell
