Default VP SCX10 transmission housing with RR bottom diff gear?

Hi there,

I'm currently using the Robinson Racing one-piece bottom diff gear. I'm looking to upgrade the transmission housing to something a little tougher, and I like the VP SCX10 one. What I can't figure out is if it'll be a direct fit or not. I've read a few posts suggesting that I'll have to change my outputs, meaning stop using the one-piece. Can someone confirm that?

Thanks!

You have to buy a RRP one piece gear for the SCX. You can not use the wraith one piece gear with the VP SCX gear box. You could use the HR gear case and keep the wraith one piece gear.

Oh, interesting, I didn't realize there was a difference between the SCX and Wraith one-piece gears. I appreciate the heads up, I'll take a look at the HR gear case.

You are correct the best way to go is the VP casing/ crawler innovations outputs/ one piece wraith RR bottom gear

I'm a little confused... the Crawler Innovations outputs are meant to bolt up to the output gear, stock or RR. The one-piece RR output gear already has the outputs... hence the one-piece part. So what exactly are you recommending?
