| Wraith re-build with PL Bronco body
Nothing earth shattering with this re- build, but I figure I'll share a few things I did to address some issues with the PL body. Starting point, one well used Wraith. I didn't want to cut the front grill like I've seen on most Bronco Wraiths to fit the servo. Flipping the plate and the servo mounts moves things back some. With the Robotronic arm, I needed more, so I milled down the horn a bit. |

Also had to mill off the back part of the horn to retain proper steering throw. |

The result is axle mounted steering that fits inside the front grill. Gotta have an opening hood to easily change batteries. |

Nice work! I really like the 'extended cab'. It's looking great. What color are you going to paint it?

Thanks for the compliments guys! I figure a new wheel and tire combo is in order. I'm very impressed with these RC4wd Hitman wheels. |

Cheaper, and by my count, built better. Motoworx Racing 10 Hole LE Just for the record, it's only leaning against my SCX10. |

The Motoworx are sweet no doubt, price wise, they're the same as the Hitmans. Back on track... Metallic Bronze base coat applied, blacked out hood, grill and detail work to follow. |

Nice looking rig. How you going to do the black hood ens, or are you painting on the outside of the shell? |

I painted the black on the outside of the body because I want it to be somewhat flat. I just leave the overspray film on and trim out what I want black. Fender flares: And grill: I glued in the light buckets with Automotive Goop. |

One thing I didn't like was how the stock front bumper covered the headlights. I tried bending it with some heat, but wasn't happy with the results. So I ended up making a very simple one. |

Couple poser shots as it sits now. Electronics to go in soon. Light bar is from an old Tamiya parts tree I had sitting around. front bumper lights are Prolines from the parts bin. |
