Default New Brite JK Wraith

Had this body laying around and got some inspiration from ScaleReady's 2.2 build. This is a perfect fit onto the wraith chassis using the same body panel screws on the side to mount it up. Its still a full wraith chassis under the body, just need to cut the rest of the cage off and build a new top half of the cage to better match the body. Still need to finish the body sanding and then paint. More updates soon.

Great stuff dude,
I didn’t realize you get bodies that will fit over a full wraith cage...?
Can you or anyone please point me in the right direction as to what to look for?

Thanx and looking forward to see how your rig turns out.

Check the classified section as sometimes you can find the NewBrite JK bodies there or post up in the wanted section. Dont know for sure if these are still in Walmart stores anymore as I bought this one awhile ago.

You will find once you chop the wraith top tube work off the interior will fit perfect.

You can also with a little dremel work get the two lower front grill mounts to fit threw the grill.

Got some Krylon lime green paint on it today, looks just like the gecko green found on the new jk's. Also cut off the rest of the stock cage and added a dingo cage.

Body will fit fine with the stock cage but I had mine already chopped up from a previous build. I also think the dingo cage follows the lines of the body a little better. It is screwed through the dash bar and you can see in the rear shots how it is screwed and spaced up. I'll get some pics up soon.
