SLW Hub Not Fitting Wraith Axle?

So I have 2 sets of VP Wheels (SSZ-11 and KMC's) both 2.2 and both running SLW hubs. I want the track width to be as close to original as possible so I went with 350 hubs on both sets of wheels.

It seems that the axle stubs are too long and hit the back of the wheel hub so I can't mount properly. Should I try using spacers from DLux or go with the next VP wheel hub size the 475?

I believe the 475 hubs give about half an inch on both sides over stock? If I went with spacers which width should i get?

You have to cut your CVD stub down so it doesn't hit the inside of the wheel.

Well I can either order 475's with no modding and run the 350 in the back. Or run 350's f/r with cut stubs. Last weekend I had a little bash run between courses at our comp site with a new wheel/tire setup for speed bashing and the only SLW hubs I had were 850 front and 725 rear from my XR build.

I liked the awesome wheels but the stance was just not where I wanted for a scale/KOH style rig. Just way too wide for my tastes. On my Lucifer 2.2 steel KOH tuber that I just dropped Wraith axles on I will definitely need 475 hubs. Probably should just order 600 front and 475 rear that way I have enough hubs to play around with all my rigs!

Ahhh VP...every time my PP fills up to a soft cushion it drains away with a single click!

Cut the threads down a little bit with a dremel.
