Default My New Wraith

Just got done putting together my Wraith kit and had a question for someone knowledgeable. In the directions, Axial recommends putting loctite on the ends of the front axles which slide into the diff. I tried it not knowing what the purpose is since they don't thread but in. I have noticed that both front axles have some play in them from side to side. The tire actually can move in and out a few millimeters. Has anyone had this issue and what did you use to fix......shims,washers. FYI, the rears do not do this.

I have the kit version with the universals. I don't worry about the little bit of slop. Have ran the crap out of the truck with no issues so far.

Nice rig! The stock front axle shafts have a lot of play. To my knowledge the only fix is to buy some aftermarket replacements.

I figured on the kit the tolerances would be tighter with the universals than with the dogbones. Might have to get some new axles.

I just used 0,3 mm shim between the outer bearing of the knuckles and the locking hubs and got rid of the play..... just left some little play to avoid undesired friction though and works great!

Great look, I was wondering what color to paint my RTR wraith's panels and black was the main choice, after seeing your pics I made up my mind and will definitely go for black!
