Default Wraith Climb off, post your vertical climbs

curious of everyones diffrent setups and how steep your wraiths will climb.

my set up is cut ripsaws. 1/8 scale 2100kv 4 pole brushless with 150 turnigy trust esc. esc mounted up front on the metal bumper. have 2200 two cell in the back. i picked it for the climb because i wasnt wanting the weight of 3 cell and didnt need the speed. looking forward to doing this same test when temps rise and the concrete ramp is dry.

post your climbing vids

This picture doesnt do justice at all to the the incline but its damn near vert at the bottom and could never get anything to go up it till I ran some oldschool pitbulls.

Hell those pitbulls you can still get dirt cheap. I think I only paid 15 a pair w/o foams from RPP in the old XOR compound. I have still yet to test the Rockbeast II's I got from crawler innovations but if they;re anything like my 1.9's I have nothing to worry about

this was in very stock form. springs removed and battery under the bonnet. dry granet looking rock in Antarctica. the top third of the climb is just on 45 degrees.

hey evan, that 3s mounted up front may actually help with the climb. the comp crawler guys all run small batteries on the front axles, but they also weight the hell out of them too. also i dont remember but have you lowered your rig any?

its alittle lower then normal. actualy ran with a guy that has rtr wraith yesterday and his is like 1" or so taller then mine maybe more then that. his couldnt even hardly attempt this rock face. its on vid somewhere. the rtr was moved around slow but seemed to bounce on everything mine seems to crawl smoother and seems planted as it goes through the same line the rtr did

ive been thinking about mounting the battery up front now that my esc is moved forward before the stock bumper was keepping the esc pushed to far back to mount a battery. though the esc itself weighs about the same as a 2200
