Default Flipping steering linkage?

Hi

I have a stock wraith for the most part except for the aluminum chubs and knuckles and a few other minor mods. The question I have is has anybody attempted to flip the steering linkage and put it behind the axle?

The reason I ask this is I feel it would improve my rigs crawling ability, by the front end (steering linkage) hanging up on everything

Thanks for the the input !

I haven't had the steering be a problem. I have a metal steering linkage that slides over the rocks right with the housing
