Thanks guys. The jeep taught me I rush things to much. I started filing before the glue had fully setup, started sanding before the putty had enough time to cure and started cutting before I really knew where I was suppose to be cutting.

As you can see by me having to add a chunk of door back on the cut first measure later bug has struck again hahahah.

Plan for today is to get the corners sorted on the hood, get the hood puttied up, grill cut and front of the wheel wells chopped up.

I had planned to run the 1.55 growlers on a TC dish wheel that I'll mod to make look cool but I'm not sure I want to wait until April for tires.

Well I screwed myself on the rear. I should have split and sectioned the gate leaving it attached to the bed sides then just heated it up and bent it to fit the dove tail.

So I'm going no tail gate. Going to make a little 'sponsor' panel to bolt the rear of the frame and do some styrene tube to brace the rear of the bed sides together.

I realize this is a crap picture but i made some more progress last night. Have the rear sorted now and got the dinky v4 roof trimmed up. Have to tear the cage apart and get the interior started. My micro servos showed up last night so I can start working on the steering column. Need to find me a driver.

I'll take some good pictures tonight.

well it ended up being a really busy week and havnt had much time to work on this guy

Tonight i was finally able to sit with it for a bit. I closed up the corners on the front fenders, made my final big cuts to the rears, got all the mounting figured out though the grill was just taped in for the pics...

still needs its final sand and a little more shape added. Hopefully i can find something for tires on the weekend so i can really start to get a feel for it. That will also let me figure out what to do with the leading edge of the front fenders.

I cut the rear braces to short and they wont go where i want them as far as roll cage is concerned but thats okay because I thought of something else to use them for! just need to get them drilled out and screwed down.

I'm really happy with how it looks so far and getting excited to see it with some color! what color? I have no idea, may use that awesome gunmetal from the Tamiya (can i use PS paint on ABS?!) or i'll go with something bright...

next up is to get the interior out, get started on boxing in the frame with panels and get to work on the details for the interior.

still need a driver to hack up....

I promise to take pics with a camera one day

Thanks for looking

Damm dude this just keeps getting better.
Would have been nice if you could have kept the rear tail gate as it was, what you planning to do there, or keeping it as is?
Gunmetal will look great

I screwed my self on the rear. I should not have cut the light area off the side. I messed with putting it back together again but it just wasn't working out. I'm sure I could do it I just decided not to. The rear will stay pretty similar to this. It's odd right now but the end result makes sense in my head hahaha. It won't seem so slapped together once finished.
