I have Mip and junfac, and the Mip shafts seem to be made a lot better. The junfac shafts have a little ring that holds the pins in, which is a cool feature.

I got the TopCad shafts. Not bad!

Pretty heavy though. I like it because it added weight down low and has a metal hex shaft that I can't imagine stripping.

Though, I already managed to strip a pin on the mount. Speaking of.....where could I get a replacement pin?

Looks like I'm going MIP.

Junfac users;
The ring that holds the pins in.
Have the rings ever get knocked off and lost?

Nah the ring fits into a groove, so nothing can knock it out. The junfac shafts suck because they didn't make the splines very well and there is alot of play in them because of it.

Traxxas 4951X drive shafts with Traxxas 4927X yokes drilled to 5mm round. Light weight, Cost effective, and if you use two female shafts with a male end attached to one side, they are very strong. They are still plastic though, so it will act as a fuse and break if truly bound up instead of breaking harder to replace gears.

Lets negate what I said about my TOPCAD shafts.

They worked well with my 55T motor, but I just dropped in a Holmes 13T and Blamo!!!!

It broke/lost a pin. So, rather than dropping another 22.50 on these things, I just ordered some MIP's
