Thanks guys for the info! I will have to sell my brand new not in hands yet VP ax/scx case I bought and then found out won't accept the RR one piece bottom gear for Wraith. My own fault...hehehe.

Okay so I bit the bullet and bought the HR case! Now the wait is on for it!! You can never have too many parts?? hahaha. It is good to know all the parts I have now will fit in the HR case and I won't need to change up drive shaft ends or anything. In Canada parts are harder to get so my source was eBay!! I am getting the HR case for $45.00 including shipping!!

I bought mine from ebay also. I have not tried the one piece gear but I have installed the axial dig set in it and everything fit good. I did have to wear the shifting rod hole in though. It was a tight fit.

I had great luck with mine up until I sold it...was running the SuperShafty top shaft with the Gen3 slipper...Robinson idler, Robinson 1 piece lower and never had a single issue with it.

Dammit man.. now you have me looking at the HR case. I was going to not get one until I was ready to build my second Wraith-based attack machine. I hate you |

Anyone broke a plastic case. I'm running gobs of power through the stock case, its filled with Robinson gears. Does the plastic case deform and strip gears? When it breaks I'll upgrade it |

I just never liked the wobbly plastic trans! It is rock solid now! Before I could see the trans wobbling like it wanted to rip off the skid plate and yes the screws were tight.

I've noticed the skid plate flexing under torque loads. Plastic tranny case seems pretty sought to me.
