Simplicity is key! I'd run a 3300kv pro4 and a mamba max pro with 2 hitic steering servos for rear steer with a spectrum dx3e and waterproof receiver as for running gear all vanquish internals for the axles with C's, knuckles and steering parts. Robinson racing transmission internals And MIP drive shafts. Top that of with vanquish links and HD ring and pinions with 3s 5300mah gens ace battery's and a castle creations BEC. Then make it look however you want

Running my third G6 tomorrow but my setup is as follows
Full RRP trans internals
T Maxx shafts
Sidewinder w 45T motor
50/50 sprung Big Bore shocks
Universals in front diff
ProLine TSLs on motoworx beadlocks.
Savox servo- Need to upgrade this because the wheels are so heavy but the voltage regulator helps

I like this set up cause its light weight, not complicated and doesn't have any fancy aluminum axle stuff to get hung up on. It also does not have any lights
