Default Project Vengeance 2.0

About a month ago I built a wraith kit, it was mainly stock except the tires and wheels. Well, after a tumble into a creek and shorting out the became and servo, it has become my latest obsession. Started off with making me some aluminum body panels, roof panel, and rear deck cover. Vanquish Knuckles, C-hubs, CMS Kit, Pan hard Kit, Diff Covers, Rear Lockouts and steering links. RC4WD King of road 110mm shocks. Tekin FXR with 35t Pro, Hitec 7950th servo and CC bec turned up to 7.4v. And all controlled by Futuba 4PL. Also decided to try and make me some slider with a little bit off rear kicckout to fill the voids on the sides. Starting small. Wanting to build a chassis soon. Here are some pics.... Tell me what you guys think....

Version 1.5

Freshly made panels

VP goodies

Late night built sliders

Well took it out for steep uphill crawl, but forgot my phone so I didn't get any pics. But have pics of the aftermath. Ended up breaking a hitec 7950th while tumbling back down. Sucks... But during downtime I tried my hand at making a stinger. Will have a camera on the next crawl..

Sliders seem to have done a good job.

Still have some grinding to do on the stinger, but I think it will serve its purpose.

How do you like those king shocks for crawling? I've heard mixed reviews

They are pretty good although right out of he box on the first run one of the ball ends came off. So I checked all if the and they were all lose from factory. And the center ring for the springs, rubs pretty hard on the shock housing, as you can see from the scratches right above the collar

Also the ball end on the king off road shocks are real short and thick, so under flex they would hit the mount on the axle before pivoting 3/4 of the way. So I removed them and installed the axial stock ball ends and spring cups. Man, what a difference. I am getting about 1 to 1 ¼ inches more flex. Sorry about the DP can.
