Default What axles are best for a crawler wraith....

Well I broke a front axle (short side) this weekend while on a crawl. I can't seem to find anyone with a used set of axial universals. So I guess its time to save and upgrade. I know there have been reviews/comparisons in the past on the RC4WD XVD's and the VP CVD's. But the xvds have been redesigned since most of the reviews were written. I only crawl with my wraith. No jumping or high speed. Crawling only, with 35t tekin on 3s for power. So before I spend a bunch of money on axles. What are some opinions on both..... Thanks

I had a set of the rc4wd in mine and they lasted about 15 seconds. I was crawling down a small hill right after I turned it on got to the bottom hit the throttle and barely turned to crawl up a rock and up the hill and snap. I was running a 27t motor on 2s at the time. I now run the same motor on 3s and the vanquish shaft and have had no issues as of yet after about 4 months of running them.

Just buy new universals or save up and get the VP's.

I've been beating the crud out of the axial ones that come with the kit. I crawl and also have a need for speed. There getting sloppy but are holding up to 6s 1/8 scale power so far
