Oh yeah I also painted the chassis, hinged the hood, attached cables to the hood pins, redone the back, and made some front inner fenders.

Thanks, but those wheels are gonna be short lived. They are cheap plastic that are going to get destroyed the first time out im sure. Got to save a bit and get some aluminum wheels and a good set of tires.

Couldn't tell ya. Haven't had it outside yet, just living room testing over pillow hills. I do have a question though. This thing always wants to lift the left front tire and stay in that position while driving forward. Is this normal or should I go for heavier springs and thicker shock oil?

Copy away my friend. But if your gonna paint, do a good prep job first then spray. I used Krylon fusion for plastics. Can says "no sanding, just spray it on" which stupid me did and now if I touch something wrong, a small piece will chip off.

Made some changes, need some constructive criticism guys. I made side panels, changed the color, went to a 4 pin hold down for the hood, and changed the rear down bars. I like the yellow, but maybe it should be a lighter shade. Not sure if i'm diggin the red chassis now with yellow panels...looks like a Hulk Hogan wraith. Maybe silver would go better with the yellow.

Yeah. I realized that iv'e made a Hulk Hogan edition wraith LOL. Maybe a lighter yellow with silver chassis. Maybe i'll pick up a can of gunmetal gray and do a little test.

Took the advice. Panels sprayed charcoal gray metallic and are drying in the garage. Thought I might do a pair of black deck stripes on the hood tomorrow night.

Ok here we go. No more Ronald Mc F'n Donald car. This is the color that will stay. Decals and number plates to come over the weekend.
