Default RC4WD 2 speed tranny

What's everyone's thoughts on these now that they've been out awhile? Got a wraith w/ a 35t, BRSL, 84t spur, 15t pinion, & 3s.

I see no reason for a 2 speed.

Seems voltage gets me everything I want.

Best mod ever if you like going fast and crawling, add a good sensored brushless motor to the mix and you're done

Biggest pain in the arse going in mine . Going next week as i've had enough .
Outputs wear quick and the included bearings are junk .
Another fail .

Thanks for all the feedback! I'm still up in the air about it, had my wraith set up w/ a 9 turn brushless, great for climbing hills, crawled terribly as it was not sensored. Love the way it crawls with my current set up. But I'm thinking of either a 2 speed or 4WS.

Can this be shifted on the fly or not? Can you run t-maxx shafts?

It actually shifts better on the fly than stopped. Mine doesnt shift under full accel but when you back off the throttle is shifts very well. It has pins that slide in to the gears on the slow side n high side so it does need to be turning a little to line the pins up n shift. If I shift mine stopped I just blip the throttle slightly n then take off. I think that it works extremely well. It is supposed to rain here tom so I will get some vids on mine and post them in my thread.
