Default Slop in axles, are they not locked

Ok so i am looking over my poison spyder wraith and noticed that I can spin the wheel 3/4 rotation before the other side catches in the front and more like 1/2 rotation in the rear. So before I throw more $$$$ at the thing taking all my beer money, I am thinking the only thing it can be is the stock diff locker of wallowed out some? I know, pull it apart, I am tired of working on this dandgum thing every hour of driving = 1hr wrenching from break down or longer due to parts avail. I am just trying to get a head start this time.lolololol

Being that you have the Poison Spyder version, there can a number of places that add up to the slop you are seeing.

The pins in the wheel hubs can start to wallow out, adding rotational slop.
Stock dog bone style drive has quite a bit of slop.
A little bit of play in the locker can be quite noticeable.

The size of the tires amplifies the appearance of a lot of slop. You can check your hubs to make sure they still look ok, but other than that you are probably just fine. Switching over to universals some day will show a pretty big reduction, but the dog bones will hold up well for quite awhile.

My guess would be the locker. I never have understood why Axial tried these lockers with a 2.2 tire. I'd check out the lockers by locked up. While you are working on my advice would be to get universals if you are still running dog bones. Dog bones gave me a bunch of trouble.
