Default Wraith trans gear help

Has anyone used the axial steel trans gears yet? I have searched and i cant even find a review on them. I can get a new set for a decent price. Or are the hot racing ones better. Is there any benifit to the hot racing ones over the axials? Thanks.

Hotracings are also much cheaper, and are even harder than the axials.

Axial shouldn't have bothered so late in the game. Their gears are so expensive I would never consider them. I can get two sets of Hot Racing gears for the same price and I know for a fact they flat out work. My 4 sets have proven themselves.

That's good to know, I could have got a new set of axials from a guy I know for $20 but I spent a few dollars more last night and got the HR ones. Thanks

HOw do you know they are harder? I bought the Axials a couple weeks ago because the machining looks great and the price was not that much higher than HR...plus LHS had them in stock.

Probably should have, but I took the advice of others and ordered the HR ones. Got them for $29 shipped.
