Now lower it and get the battery in front of the firewall. We aren't building monster trucks here. I know you have been looking forward to this for a long time. Congrats on finally getting it.

I don't like flipping the lower mounts but plenty of people do. You can flip the rear upper mount. Back off all that preload that you put on the shocks. Move the top of the shocks in towards the center of the chassis, ie. front shocks back and rear shocks forward. Buy my lowering kit or 4 seater conversion kit (that includes my lowering kit) that I am about to release.

Yep, take out the 4 screws that hold the rear shock mount. Flip the mount 180 degrees on the y axis and reinsert the 4 screws that hold the mount to the chassis.

I flipped the rear upper & all lower mounts to get this profile, I ended up flipping it all back (then getting a whole new chassis) & using the shocks to get the droop.

Stock on left & flipped on right

I put the stock battery holder on its side in front of the firewall and cut off what was now the top. The center hole of what used to mount to the rear shock mounts lines up perfectly to the hole that you have the esc plate mounted to. I can take a picture after dinner if that doesn't make sense.

The rx8 is a waste in anything less than an 1/8 scale buggy. Just get a mamba max pro. Plus the castle link will work for both the mmp and your bec. Beats having to buy a Hotwire too.

Here is the battery holder mod:

I run them both where you have your rx box. They just aren't in the picture since I had everything out to design my lowering kit and 4 seater conversion.
