| Advantages to a centered rear pumpkin?
Love the looks of the Wraith but confused why it doesn't have a centered rear pumpkin (diff housing). I guess they put an offset under there to ease drive shaft angles???? I'd like to see pix and hear your opinion if you have made the switch. Thanks guys |

There are plenty of factory 1:1s that have an offset rear pumpkin (although none that I know of that have an axle that looks like the Dana style found in the wraith). There are also plenty of custom 1:1 buggies that use a front steering axle in the rear with an offset pumpkin. I like the offset pumpkin since it improves the ground clearance. If I was using ar60s in a more stock style scaler I would use a centered pumpkin but I think it fits right in with the theme of the wraith.

Same axle housing, different axles. The fronts are dogbone or universal and the rear axles are straight.
