Default looking for servo.

hey guys, im looking for a servo for my wraith for under $75-ish. so far the best i have found is the Savox SA-1230SG which is rated at (@6.0V oz-in): 500. im building my wraith on a budget and i will be running a MMP on 3s with 3100Kv Roc412, 2.2 Pitbulls, and AX2 trans. i dont mind running off brands like T-Pro or EXI. i just want a good strong servo that will be reliable and that i can get here before its maiden voyage next Saturday where it will attempt to drive up stone mountain with a large group.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated. i'd really like to save money if possible

I doubt your gonna find a reliable 500oz in servo for less than that savox.

If you have the money for the MMP, ROC412 and the 2 speed and $75 for a servo, here is my suggestion. Get the MMP and ROC412 and don't waste your money on the 2 speed. The 3100 will give you plenty of speed with out it. And with the money you save there + your $75 servo budget buy a Hi Tec 7950 or 7980. DONE. You'll have some excellent electronics and you won't waste money on the 2 speed.

The only time I see the use for a 2 speed is with a higher turn brushed motor that just can't give you the speed. Plus its not going to be very durabable with the ROC412. They have some weak points which require more money to fix/upgrade. You're better off with out it. Just build the stock trans or an ax trans
