Question New CVD install has 3/23 of side2side slop

I installed a new set of Integy HD universals and everything is nice and snug but I noticed there is around 3/32 of side to side play. There is no reason why there should be any these have a longer tang that goes in to the diff. So what is the fix, that is what I'm looking for. Quick & easy.

Not buying Integy would have prevented that. If you are on a budget then just buy the stock Axial uni's. Integy is about the crappiest thing you could have bought.

Side to side play? Meaning you can pull the shaft in and out of the axle? If so, shims should take care of that. Depending on where the play is, a shim between the outer bearing and hex pin, or between the inner bearing and knuckle shod fix the issues.

^^ x2. Shim it up, should solve the problem.

I've have had parts from lots of different vendors and had good & bad from them all. Shim the shaft in the chub? Thanks, that is easy enough. Would the no slop lockers work as well?

I have my doubts there is any combination of C/knuckle & uni/cvd that doesn't require shimming, I've got the Axial kit uni's & VP C/knuckles & still had to shim. I had to shim between the large bearing in the knuckle & the uni with 15x10 shims & between the uni & the bearing in the housing end with 11x5 shims till there was just a tiny amount of play & I ended up with different shims from one side to the other, hence my doubts of the absolute perfection of any given combination of parts.

You can obviously buy them loose or these may have what you need
Vanquish Disc Brake Shim Kit (Wraith)

The no-slop lockers will appear to solve this but are really masking the fact that the bearings are moving in the C & really they shouldn't, this can only accelerate wear & possible failure.
